Let’s Clear This Up!
These two words get tossed around a lot, but they’re not the same thing.
Subscription:You’re paying on a set schedule (monthly, yearly, etc.) for ongoing access to a product, service, or content. Focus: You’re paying for what you receive over and over. Example: Netflix for $15/month, monthly coffee deliveries, or a magazine.
Membership:You’re joining a group, club, or organization that comes with perks, discounts, or special access. Focus: Being part of something, unlocking privileges, and getting exclusive benefits. Example: A warehouse club for $60/year where you get lower prices, special events, and member-only products.
The difference? A subscription = continual supply or access. A membership = a relationship with an organization that often includes perks, discounts, community… and sometimes subscriptions too.

You’re not “signing up for a subscription box.” You’re joining a shopping club that rewards you every time you shop.
